The Warnbro Swans Football Club was formed in 1985 to provide an opportunity for children in the then new and rapidly expanding Warnbro area to participate in junior football. As the area grew and the juniors got older, WSFC responded and fielded teams in Colts and eventually Senior competitions.

Today, along with Junior and Senior teams Warnbro Swans fields teams in the Masters Australian Football competition and most recently the Integrated Football competition supporting people with intellectual disabilities. Through the efforts of many dedicated and selfless volunteers , Warnbro Swans exists today as one of the largest football clubs in the state, a strong, vibrant organisation providing opportunity for over 900 people to participate in the great game of Australian Rules Football.

Significant Milestones ​
1985 – Warnbro Swans Junior Football Club founded fielding teams in the South Fremantle Junior Football League
1989 – Warnbro Swans Senior Football Club founded fielding League and Colts teams in the Murray District League
1991 – Seniors joined the West Australian Amateur Competition
1992 –Seniors field League, Reserves and Colts side in the WAAFL for first time
1993 – Senior and junior clubs amalgamate to form the Warnbro Swans Football Club
1995 – Juniors join Peel Football League
1996 – WSFC wins WAAFL club of the year and League Premiership
1997 – WSFC wins WAAFL club of the year and League Premiership
2000 – WSFC fields teams in the Masters Australian Football competition for the first time
2002 – WSFC wins WAAFL club of the year for the third time and Premierships in Colts, Reserves and League
2005 – Reserves win Premiership
2008 – Reserves win Premiership
2011 – Reserves win Premiership
2011 – WSFC fields a team in the Integrated Football competition for the first time
2015 – Colts win Laurie Keene Colts Premiership from 5th position
2018 – League wins Premiership
